The Sportsman's Creed
The Player...
1.Lives clean and plays hard. Plays for the love of the game.
2.Wins without boasting, loses without excuses, and never quits.
3.Respects officials and accepts their decisions without question.
4.Never forgets that he/she represents his/her club/team/school/community.
The Coach...
1.Inspires in the athletes a love for the game and the desire to win.
2.Teaches them that it is better to lose fairly than win unfairly.
3.Leads players and spectators to respect officials by setting them a good example.
4.Is the type of person he/she wants his/her athletes to be.
The Official...
1.Knows the rules.
2.Is fair and firm in all decisions. Calls them as he/she sees them.
3.Treats players and coaches courteously and demands the same treatment for self.
4.Knows the game is for the athletes, and lets them have the spotlight.
The Spectator...
1.Never boos a player or official.
2.Appreciates good play, no matter who makes it.
3.Knows the club/team/school/community gets the blame or praise for his/her conduct.
4.Recognizes the need for more sportsmen and fewer "Sports".
